Mary Stewart Giveaway (Closed)

Happy Birthday to Ms. Stewart! How is everyone getting on with your reading? I finished Wildfire at Midnight and am now reading Nine Coaches Waiting. I’m hoping to post my thoughts on Thursday. Stay tuned for possible excessive gushing!

giveaway

Today, in honor of her birthday, I’m giving away two Mary Stewart books. Madam, Will You Talk? is Stewart’s first romantic suspense novel and was published in 1955. The Crystal Cave is the first book in her Merlin series. Anyone is eligible to enter the giveaway – you don’t have to post a review this week in order to enter. You can indicate on the entry form if you’d like both books or you can choose one or the other if you win. The giveaway is open internationally and closes on Sunday, September 22, at 11:59 pm Arizona time. I’ll announce the winner next week.

  1. I entered the giveaway and requested both books but that should be either. I haven’t read any of Mary Stewart and this reading week really piqued my interest.

  2. I’m joining in the reading week, though I haven’t yet posted about it on my blog. I chose Nine Coaches Waiting–it’s a reread for me, and one of my favorites. I adore Mary Stewart’s romantic suspense novels, but I’ve never read her Merlin books. I’m going to start Nine Coaches Waiting tonight–can hardly wait!

  3. I started The Moonspinners last night and am enjoying it immensely! It hooked me immediately. I have a feeling it will be my favorite of the three Stewart novels I’ve read so far. I’m hoping to finish it in the next day or two so I can post about it later in the week.

  4. Thank you for this wonderful event and now a give-away too! I am about 3/4’s of the way through Wildfire at Midnight and I’m loving it. Read most of it in a binge read last night when I was meant to be getting an early night 🙂

  5. I’m halfway through The Ivy Tree, my third or fourth Stewart. So far, I love it! The descriptions of the scenery on the first couple pages hooked me immediately.
