Mary Stewart Reading Week – Two Weeks from Today

Mary Stewart Week Badge 2014

In just two weeks the second annual Mary Stewart Reading Week will kick-off here at Gudrun’s Tights. It seems so long ago that I decided to host this event again in honor of Lady Stewart’s memory so I can’t believe that the week is nearly upon us. I envision the event working much the same as last year, but I’ll let you all know if there are any changes.

I haven’t quite decided yet what I’ll read and post about during the week. I really would like to try The Ivy Tree and possibly This Rough Magic and maybe even Rose Cottage too. Do you have any idea what you’ll read that week?

Have a great Sunday!

  1. If I get a vote, I’d say The Ivy Tree 🙂

I am definitely in! I’m planning to read The Last Enchantment, and maybe one of her suspense novels as well – I have quite a few to choose from still.

Thanks for hosting us again this year.

  2. I’ve been looking forward to this! I haven’t quite decided what to read yet either – I still have a few of the suspense novels left to read but I’m curious about her Merlin books too, so maybe I’ll try The Crystal Cave.

  3. I’m thinking about Airs Above the Ground, or My Brother Michael…but I have to see what the library has in stock. Any particular suggestions?

    1. Hmmm…good question! I think I would suggest Nine Coaches Waiting over Madam, Will You Talk? though they are both so good. You can’t go wrong with either of them. I’m glad you’re joining in!

  4. I think I ordered Rose Cottage. That and the Margaret Kennedy book are being delivered to my mums house. Once I have it, I will begin reading so I can join in.
